I think with Tommy's strings as well, give it this morose sensibility. And we're using found sound and field recordings is really important. I think the big influence for me on doing that other than obviously Arthur Russell and kind of the abut guard was a world-coach usage of the Cornet project on Yankee Hotel Box Drop. It shaped my young mind into wanting to turn to the sounds of what's going on outside in the world and try to use that stuff. The song meaning was about me finding solace in London and solace in people - Max especially because he's Kiwi.
