Type 2 Diabetes - Is There a Difference Between Treating and Preventing Diabetes?

There's a lot of research out there looking at different dietary patterns and Type 2 diabetes. How do you sort of reconcile all of that or think about this idea of managing risk versus treating the condition once someone has it? I would say in general a lot of the recommendations are similar, they can be good for preventing and managing diabetes. And maybe a low carb diet could be good for someone no but maybe for another person is just not going to fit with their lifestyle.
