Is Your Team Reluctant to Make Decisions?
Gary: I have some team members who are very reluctant to make decisions. They've experienced micromanagement, either from the dentist or the office manager. We decided in his practice that any decision that was $300 or less, we arbitrarily set the cap at $300. If it was over $300, they could come to the doctor and get the doctor's input on the decision. All of a sudden her confidence was going up through the roof. And he only had to do that for a few weeks. He said, Gary, that tip that you gave me at the beginning of the year was worth the fees I paid you alone just for that tip.
