VDI for Desktop OS in a Virtual Environment

Microsoft is making it easier to license Windows Server for virtual environments and the cloud by relaxing the licensing rules. Up until now, you're supposed to use the enterprise version of Windows, not the retail version. That led to some legal actions brought by European cloud providers who said that Microsoft's licensing program represented an unfair competition.
