Some of the work that's been done in this space is quite promising. But i think, on having thought through the ih, the impossibility theorems we talked about earlier still apply here. It remains the case that every mathematically consistent theory of population ethics will have some poisoned bullet it has to bite. The repugnant conclusion is not actually that bad once you've seen what the alternatives arereting. That's te cut and dry. I can see reasonable people going different ways on that. Desse can.
