The Importance of Resilience
"It just makes it profoundly sit with me how incredibly resilient religious beliefs are in a negative way," says John Defterios. "There's no amount of logic. There's no amount Of physical evidence because this, this video of Warren saying these things in prison, it was physical evidence." He adds that even later realizing that for some people, that recording in prison was what was needed to help them make the change in their own life. 'Toxic resilience' is his term for those who hold on to an impenetrable wall of belief and don't know they're wrong.
