There have been more opportunities in recent years for journalists with an interest in effective altruism, long-termism and related topics. One path we'd be particularly excited to see some readers take is to establish themselves as credible reporters in the areas of science and technology. You don't necessarily need technical expertise to excel in this way. If you have technical skills related to some of the world's most pressing problems, there are likely more promising career opportunities for you outside of journalism.
