Being a board member means that you are responsible. You have to ensure that the business is performing to what you think is the highest and best use. It really changes the dynamic of the relationship. I had great board relationships with many of the founders that was on their boards. In general, like if the situation doesn't require it on it, like, it's generally better not to be an investor in public companies.
