What Is a Robust Strategy?
A robust strategy is one that will work across a large variety of stocks or instruments. I trade the exact same strategy in both the top 500 US stocks, so the S&P 500, and also in the top 500 Australian stocks. There's no optimization on any individual stock. It's the same rules. So that tells me the strategy is very, very robust. To give you an idea of a non-robot strategy, this is the trap a lot of people fall into because they want something to work exceptionally well all the time.
