The Influence of Culture on Our Brains

We don't just cook up these stories in our head about how the world works. They are definitely influenced by culture itself and certainly by influential people in our lives whether we know those people or not. The brain like certainty, it's going to start looking for things that match this is what we call confirmation bias. We need to become more intentional about do we really want to adopt those or not?
