The Inflationary Multiverse Has Potential

I think the inflationary multiverse has some potential because it does make good predictions in our universe. I'm not too worried about it on sort of a philosophical, spiritual level. So why don't we just point this new telescope at the ex planets and alpha centari? Could we zoom in pretty close and see what's going on there? Maybe see some aliens walking around or lover in there?
