When we get triggered into early childhood memories of something like rejection or pain, our aid takes over. The ad ego and the super ego children a the ad is the part of our personality that we're first born with. It's very impulsive. So when these negative emotions come about, you have to resist the urge of that id that looks for immediate satisfaction.
