The model that I use or the mental image that I have is of your circle of control. So what things can I control and I want to bring my presence to those things? The only things you can ever control are your thoughts, your feelings and your actions. And when I am fully in control of those things and I relinquish control of trying to control other things that I can't, then I'm able to be more fully present.
