The Complexity of Life on Earth
I think it's always going to be a scale because we don't know the inconditions of the planet that we're going to but I would say on Earth, it's very nice. You can fingerprint life on Earth and it seems to be there is a threshold by which is very unlikely you're going to find identical copies of the molecule over 15 steps. But yes, when you go to a planet, you should be able to look at the planet and say dead or alive and where's the threshold. And that's really exciting.
