Is the Octopus a Mind?

Peter Clark: The octopus is nature's best example of what we could call an other mind. If so, why should we care? What value can we find in exploring a mind most different from our own? And are we actually able to relate to each other, even amongst our otherness? I do think they 're special in that way that they have that combination of being so far from us on the tree and yet so complicated because of their our particular history and their life style.
