The Final Chapter of Games of Empire by Michael Galloway
Galloway: This chapter is probably really interesting people as kind of historical object more than it is an argumentative object. But yeah, but I imagine if you're an art history person or interested in the trajectory of this, you could probably read this final chapter alongside John Sharp's Games of Art to have a sense of like, what were the early 2000s like and what did that look like? So it's good. It feels very similar to the final chapter of Games of Empire. They pick up the language of counter gaming in that book.
