How Long Does It Take to Apply for a T or 1?
If you've got a UK-born parent or grandparent, you're home and dry. You get a fire in your permit, and you can eventually get permanent residence. The Arts Council England take about four weeks to process it. But the key for the artist is gathering together the information to support his or her application. For most of my audiences, either in film or video games, especially working in visual effects, usually it's a longer term contract. And so I would assume a lot of times people ideally want to go for a T or 1 if they can get it.
