Sleepy Bookshelf Season 1 Preview

This season I am excited to be bringing you Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. It's a coming of age story set against the backdrop of the American Civil War. The novel follows the four March sisters living with their mother in Massachusetts while their father serves as a chaplain for the Union army. There is beautiful and ladylike Meg, headstrong and tomboyish Joe, sweet and compassionate bear and artistic yet selfish Amy. We'll watch them grow up, mature, find their loves and experience their first losses as they navigate the wider world beyond their front door.
