Ryan Tovarly's 120,000 Euro Exit Package

RTE's finance and accounting department basically had stockpiled 120 grand to pay to Ryan Tovarly. Because this sum then wasn't paid as a bookkeeping exercise, they had to trade it off on the balance sheet from the credit to the debit side. They ended up reducing the figures that he was paid over the previous number of years because the loyalty bonus hadn't been paid. So his figures for 2017 to 2019 are therefore reduced by 120 grand. Then RTE are publishing their top 10 earnings. That department, whoever responds for that took the newly revised figures, which were lowered and he was actually paid. And that was what was published to the public in 2023.
