The Ministry of Public Security Is Exerting More and More Control Over the Practicalities of Government

One thing I've heard is that the Ministry of Public Security, MPS, is exerting more and more control over the practicalities of government. The car registration and also the driver's training programs have been a very interesting case because if we follow the National Assembly discussions for the past few years. Maybe they're trying to stamp out corruption, but maybe they're also just trying to take over the corruption. But the consequence of the MPS getting more and more unchallenged power, I don't think that's a good thing for Vietnam as many Politburo members who have police background already.
