David byrne talks about playing in a small club on the bowery of new york. He says that because it was such a small space, you could immediately tell if you were connectind with the audience. Since then he's played other places much nicer but noticed his music didn't sound as good there. David: "Do i write stuff for specific rooms? Do i have a place of venue in mind when i write?"
