Chili Beans or No Beans?

"There's no one canonical chili. There are many chilies," he says. "I've had chili with beans and without beans and they're both good in their own ways." He has a book that is called, well, he had a scene in the office that was relatively famous for him having a big chili recipe and then he spills it all over the floor.
