Playing the Short Game

If you are doing something in order to get the opportunity to do something else, then for the sake of this podcast, we are going to call that the short game. In other words, it's a game that is not going to last very long, but it does buy you the opportunity to move on to the next thing. The key lesson here is that sometimes we make compromises in the work that we do, not because we don't have a value system, but because we also expect others to make compromises as well.
