Is There More Adaptive Reuse in the Northeast?

The northeast is a lot denser than texas. Since it's older, there's a lot more old buildings. In order for a project to get federal historic tax credits, the building needs to be on the national register of historic places. It can't just be like a light renovation. It basicly has to bik a full gut. But i gess very long winded way of saying it does happen more in the northeast. There are more buildings that lay out better that way.
