The World's a Killer, Not a Defeater

CNN.com's John Sutter takes a look at some of the reports that have been misreported in Iraq and Syria over the past few years. In one case, chemical ali was thought to be dead after an air strike on his villa but then turned out to be alive again. He says there is no reason to believe every death reported by news outlets is real. The only way you can really tell if reporting is accurate or not is when people talk about things that have happened in the past without engaging with current story.
