The Prognosis of a High White Blood Cell Count

If you see abnormal white cells, if you see blast, then it's a slam dunk and there's nothing else that could be going on. The most likely reasons to have really high white blood cell count is typically either AML or T cell, a LL. But that being said, right? You know, the other day we had a kid that presented with a white count of 600,000 and has straightforward B cell a LL. So there's never a true, you know, cut off, but it tends to make you think more T cell or a ML if they have a high white.
