Jameson and Mark Fisher - Is This the End of Capitalism?
I think it reflects the optimism and pessimism of their respective times. Jameson, although he's a marxist, is aho show of its own. The eighties and nineties were little outbursts of basically economic growth that led to some optimism. And so even in the face of the worst economic global capitalist crisis since the great depression, we can't muster anything in response. We can't do anything meaningful, given all tthe literally, capitalism collapsing. I mean, you know, now tho those spaces, those those little flames that were burning in various places around the world, have been viciously stamped upon,. exactly.
