The CEO of Slack, Stuart Butterfield, is in a nice job being very transparent about why he's raised all this money. I don't think there are a ton of pre-revenue businesses that have wildly massive valuations other than Jet. Uber's got to be burning tens of millions a month and how much of that is on? Legal fees versus a lot of it.
