The Rise and Fall of Apocalypse Now
I do not expect Apocalypse Now to be a woken movie at all. I just want to kind of just say as a fact though when we talk about it that what the movie does is it lowers the status of Western men to being quote unquote savages, but it never elevates anybody else to being human. The only time that you're kind of cringing is when Martin Sheen shoots the woman and kills her so they don't get derailed off their mission. It's even in 1979, we should have a perspective on what we did.
