The History of the Nutcracker

The nutcracker has spurred on the popularity of ballet as an art form. It's one of the reasons why decorative nutcrackers ultimately spread beyond germany, specially as holiday decorations. In 19 61, first lady, jacqeline kennedy chose nutcracker ballet themed decorations for a christmas tree in the blue room at the white house. All three of them outlived pyotr iliitch tchikowski, who died on november sixth 18 93, or october 20 fifth in the old style calendar.
