Is Aiden Cheating?

Aiden is smart enough to not want to waste time on stuff he doesn't care about. Maybe he just doesn't think what's being asked of him is worth doing well. I have shockingly, a pretty deep conviction that human beings make cost benefit calculations all the time. It's just that the costs and benefits aren't just dollars and cents.
