An artist might be conceived of as doing something that's almost like philosophy so the artist is trying to get back to the form in some way I suppose. In a very Platonist kind of way the philosopher can articulate what he's saying the philosopher understands what he's doing and even artists don't really understand what they're doing or why they're doing it, says David Walliams.
