Connecting to People Is the Hardest Part of Being an Activist
I was really clear to write a chapter about collaboration because I think connecting to other people is the hardest part of being an activist. It's never been harder, I think, to connect to other people. We live at a time when populist leaders are doing that classic divide and rule. They're protecting and entrenching their own power by encouraging us all to fear each other or look for differences between us. Activism is not therapy.
