The Effect of the Rosin Bag on Pitching

Pitcher's use of rosin bag didn't seem to make that much difference either like safety wise or offense wise. I don't know if almost a century ago tells us exactly what would happen now. It's just pitchers throw a lot harder these days, right? And they throw more breaking balls and maybe there's more danger and also more advantage to be gained.
