She was an overnight celebrity, not just the new favorite all american girl, but a new kind of girl, an athlete. She would sometimes drive out to her uncle's farm and go flying with her cousin in a biplane. The air was cool on her face, and she smiled. And i can't tell you what goes through your head when you are crashing...but you know that it's bad. I don't know if time slows down or rushes forward all at once. I can tell you the only thing she remembered was clouds.
