The Role of Environmental Triggers in Autism
It is extremely highly likely that all autism is caused by inborn errors of metabolism. Environmental triggers can also be responsible for increasing the penetrance of the disorder when they are imposed on a population. It is a complete fallacy to say that because there is an environmental component, these aren't genetic, and it is a complete mistake to think environment doesn't matter.
