Aretu Shoes: The Evolution of Kids Footwear
Satajit Mittal, founder of Pune based Aretu shoes tells us how he worked on this area through the pandemic. He started ideaing about it in 2020 when his cousins told him their kids were growing too fast and they had to buy new shoes every three to four months. The name actually comes from the Greek goddess of Arect which is the highest form of moral virtue. Increasing the lifespan of shoes means they are replaced less often and fewer go to the landfill.
