Do You Need Strength Training for Distance Runners?

There has been a few studies that have looked at people just getting these improvements in strength and then stopping and the gains reversed quite quickly so you see running economy kind of drifting back to where it was. The amount of force you can produce on it in strength test starting to diminish as well. For both resistance training and plyometric training with runners I would use between about two and three minutes of rest but because distance runners are so quick recovering like the metabolic system certainly the cardiovascular system recovers very quickly. In my experience the kind of itching to go around about a minute and a half two minutes and it doesn't seem to affect the quality of the set if we take about two minutes. Anything less than
