The Kremlin Is Mandating Workers at Europe's Largest Nuclear Power Plant to Sign Employment Contracts

In Ukraine on October 7, shelling damaged a power line providing electricity to the reactor unit 6 at the Zaparisha nuclear power plant. Both Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky and the IAEA have said no that is not the case. The Kremlin is mandating that workers at Europe's largest nuclear plant must now decide whether to sign employment contracts with new Russian firm or stay committed to Ukrainian operator in Nergal Adam.
