The N C C Is a Lost Cause

Pew worked for the national council of churches, a big church organization. His goal was not to put politics in the n c c; he just wanted to push them to not be political. He thought the clergy were so left winged that you could never turn them right. And he eventually gave the nc c up as hopelessly liberal. But his budy, jasper crane, agrees with pew: It's a lost cause.
