I find Darren Brown quite entertaining, especially the way he's one of those magicians who is fairly open about taking ideas from behavioral science and using them in magic. I think you should either explicitly do it for entertainment or, or not do it because they're pretty bad when you're actually claiming to be sending messages from people that people care about. There's a Sylvia Brown case where he said, your daughter is dead and I see her,. I see her lying in water or something like that and turned out she was alive and had been kidnapped. Horrible.
