Cancel Culture, Prison, and Fantasizing About Killing Your Rapist

The idea that people who have done violent things deserve to have their bodily autonomy taken away from them is a real fucking thing that exists in our society, right? These like supposed like anarchists are fantasizing about taking that to its ultimate extreme expression through murder. Punishment is an effective means of deterring people from violence and is a justifiable expression of people's like pain over having been victimized. But is punishment an effective way of preventing violence? That I believe would ruin to be seen.
