The course work is about a 30 month process two and a half years after the bachelor's degree so there are some programs that are faster or slower it really depends on the time you want to set aside. Usually people will either quit working to pursue the program or at least cut back on their hours and work part-time which is what I did. The training should be done under a MD or DO, but some states will allow you to do your clinicals under an in-p.
