The Importance of a Ring on Your Finger
Luke 15, Luke 15 is another account where you see someone's clothing change who they are. To put on a robe meant that the father was restoring his position as a son. In ancient Hebrew, many times a ring meant authority. When Paul says we have been clothed with Christ, he's saying you are not to be treated based on your own, but what you have earned or what you have done.
