Asylum Refusal

The vast majority of people who have come forwardhave expressed a preference for ucranians. So it leaves the government in a very difficult position, even though you've got far fewer people in the asylum seeker pipe line. One person i spoke to went so far as to say we might reach a situation where we're handed out tents, mele personal tents, to people and saying they'll have to sleep outside. Ye, i am quite worried about the situation as we go into the winter months. And the war in ucrane, you know, shows little sign of abating.
