When we had these big floods of immigration in in the 19 hundreds, there was no welfare state. So there was none of this, like, your coming here and living off of the system. And the other thing we had that was was a culture that was explicitly american. We have the opposite of all of that, nw, tacking legal immigrants to come here have aromatically,. Like he's one a siad who normally sits in that chair. These are guys who went through the process of becoming an American citizen. They understand what it's about. They're some of our best citizens.
