The Story of Abe Caram and Dina Karam
abe caram was born in bagdad and emigrated to israel when he was 12. He spent years as an aeronautical engineer in the Israeli air force. In 19 73, he produced his first invention, an unmanned glider that served as a decoy to steer anti aircraft fire away from piloted planes. Building the glider led karam to an epiphany. An unmanned, remote controlled aircraft could be a powerful new weapon for the military. More importantly, it could lead to a world in which human pilots would no longer have to fly dangerous reconnaissance missions over enemy territory or risk being shot down.
