The Negative Context of Imagination in the Bible

I'm really fascinated by the craft of fiction. There's so many great books out there on writing fiction that have really caught my interest. The more attention I pay to sort of what writers do and how they do it, then as a pastor you start to pick up on these literary moves of the biblical authors. He's using these writer moves to be able to tell this truth in a way that really, really fundamentally has impacted the way I read scripture. It's a bit of a shame that in the King James Bible, the translation, the only times the word imagination is used is always a negative context. But I think it is.
