The Challenges of Aging in America
When people have children in their mid twenties, they can do a lot of care. When that starts to get attenuated, then you start to get into, well, I'm 36 and my parents are 72. Kids becomes a little more difficult just in the way that aging works. And essentially, we've added an entire generation onto our lifespan in this country without changing anything about our policy or our culture.
