The Pit Didn't Work

The pit is supposed to remind you of god's grace over your own life. If joseph wouldn't have surrendered and served god at every season, he wouldn't have been in the position to save his own family. I'm not telling us to be stupid, but the only thing that proves that you really are healed is when god can use you to touch those very same people that you messed up with.
